Synopsis

This book analyzes the development of the land registry in Bosnia and Herzegovina from a geodetic perspective, covering its historical evolution from the medieval period to the modern digital environment. Particular emphasis is placed on the relationship between the cadastre and the land registry, as well as their legal and technical roles in recording real estate and ownership. The study addresses fundamental principles, the structure of the land registry system, registration procedures, and legal effects, along with data maintenance and changes. Contemporary trends, including electronic land registry management, are also examined. The book contributes to a better understanding of the integration of geodetic and legal aspects of real estate administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Author Biographies

Prof. dr. sc. Admir Mulahusic, University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Civil Engineering

Dr. sc. Admir Mulahusic is a Full Professor at the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Sarajevo. He is the author of numerous scientific papers and has participated in many scientific and professional projects.

V. prof. dr. sc. Jusuf Topoljak, University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Civil Engineering

Dr. sc. Jusuf Topoljak is an Associate Professor at the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Sarajevo. He is the author of numerous scientific papers and has participated in many scientific and professional projects.
